Rich Gerstein has dedicated his life to transforming transportation and supply chain logistics. At an early age, Rich learned about the industry from the docks of his father’s LTL business, which led him to found IntelliTrans, a tech-based logistics company specializing in multi-modal supply chain optimization and visibility for the bulk and break-bulk industries. Since joining Cargomatic in 2017, Rich has focused on building a revolutionary transportation and technology business for local and regional markets. Rich holds his bachelor’s degree in Political Economy of Industrialized Societies and a MS in Transportation Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Ed Aldridge
President
Ed Aldridge joined Cargomatic in early 2023, bringing extensive executive leadership experience from the maritime industry to the company. A recent recipient of the most prestigious award in the U.S. maritime industry (AOTOS), Ed began his early career with Sea Land Service, Inc. During his tenure with the innovative ocean carrier, he achieved senior executive positions and oversaw virtually every geographical location worldwide. In 1999, he left Sea Land and continued his career progression as president of American President Lines (APL) North and South America, and in 2003, became CEO and founder of US Lines (USL). In 2008, USL was purchased by the CMA CGM Group. Ed continued to lead US Lines and stayed with the Group for 14 years where he was later named president of both CMA CGM America and APL. While with CMA CGM, Ed was responsible for all commercial, operational and government activities across North America. He currently resides in Windermere, Florida, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Marist College.
Matt Hogan
Chief Operating Officer
Matt Hogan brings over 20 years of logistics and operations experience to the table. Previously, Matt was the Director of Account Management at IntelliTrans for 15 years. Matt is an innovative operational leader that drives strategic growth and values forging strong customer relationships throughout the industry. He holds his bachelor’s degree from Xavier University.
Marc Marling
Chief Business Officer
With more than 25 years of shipping-industry experience, Marc Marling serves as Cargomatic’s Chief Business Officer. He is known throughout the industry for his expertise in maritime and admiralty law, intermodal transportation and for his ability to help companies navigate complex logistics issues and government regulations. Most recently, he served as the Chief Governance Officer and Chief Legal Officer for CMA CGM and APL North America. A graduate of Rutgers Law School, Marc’s leadership and strategy skills extend to overseeing staff and outside counsel involved in maritime and commercial litigation, as well as commercial transactions, including contracting, land purchase, leasing and acquisitions. Marc’s diverse experience and his role as the president of Vanmarc Shipping Limited Company underline his commitment to solving complex problems and offering expert services to clients in the maritime industry. A skilled public speaker, he is also actively involved in thought leadership through his Corporate Thought podcast series, which explores the multifaceted aspects of business, mentorship, family companies and entrepreneurship.
Sunil Sharma
Chief Product and Co-Chief Technology Officer
Sunil Sharma holds over 20 years of experience building and launching successful products and services across platforms, applications and online marketplaces. Sunil has a strong track record of driving innovation, having held R&D and product leadership roles at GT Nexus, Yahoo!, Jasper Technologies and Cisco. Sunil is responsible for driving product strategy, technology R&D and cloud operations at Cargomatic. Sunil has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Brian Flint
Co-Chief Technology Officer
Brian Flint brings over 30 years of experience in the creation and deployment of technology solutions to improve transportation and warehousing operations. Prior to joining Cargomatic, Brian was Global Director of Product Management and Development at IntelliTrans, where he led the product and engineering teams in the creation of mission-critical, multi-tenant SaaS platforms relied on by transportation professionals of Fortune 500 companies across the globe. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Bridgeport.
Andrew Straub
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Straub brings a wealth of financial expertise from his time at SoftBank Investment Advisers, HPS Investment Partners, LLC, and Goldman Sachs. His strategic financial acumen strengthens Cargomatic’s financial foundation and drives growth. Andrew holds a BA in Economics from Boston College.
Jen Donnell

With over 16 years of HR leadership across industries—from manufacturing and logistics to design and media—Dr. Jennifer “Jen” Donnell brings deep expertise in organizational development, global expansion, and culture transformation. She holds a Doctorate in Education, a Master’s from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management, and a Bachelor of Music from Johns Hopkins.
A certified Six Sigma practitioner and PROSCI Change Management professional, Jen has led DEI initiatives, built succession planning frameworks, and developed talent pipelines for both Fortune 500s and high-growth startups. She co-founded iTalk Events, launched the 800+ member VP Circle on LinkedIn, and previously oversaw HR strategy and a $3M budget as VP of People & Culture at a global design firm. Her insights have been published in Forbes and her debut book, A Round of No Applause, blends personal storytelling with actionable career advice. Based in Philadelphia, she lives with her husband and two sons.
Meredith Wooten
Chief Legal Officer
Meredith Wooten serves as Chief Legal Officer at Cargomatic, where she leads all legal, regulatory and compliance functions. She brings over a decade of experience advising transportation, logistics and financial services companies on matters ranging from M&A and contract negotiation to employment law and risk management. Prior to joining Cargomatic, she held senior legal roles at IMC Logistics, Centerline Business Services and Vero Business Capital. She also serves as the Municipal Judge for the Town of Brighton, Tennessee. Meredith earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
