What inspired you to pursue a career in logistics, and what has your journey been like?
I’m naturally an analytical thinker, which allows me to optimize processes and plan strategically in logistics—all while ensuring goods move efficiently every day. My journey has been dynamic, with its peaks and valleys, especially through the challenges of the pandemic and the industry’s post-pandemic shifts.

Can you share a proud moment or accomplishment from your time working here?
My team has recently grown, and seeing them collaborate, support each other, and confidently make decisions on rates has been a huge accomplishment for me. I couldn’t be prouder of their growth and the progress they’ve made!

What advice would you give to other women interested in a career in logistics?
Problem-solving skills and networking are key factors in logistics. Have faith in yourself and don’t let anyone tell you differently.

Who has been a mentor or role model for you in your career, and what did you learn from them?
My mom has been a role model in so many ways. The best advice she’s given me is to never settle—if you want to do something, do it with all your heart. If it doesn’t work out, that’s okay—you tried, you experienced it and you learned. Never regret the shots you take, whether they lead to positive or negative lessons.

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
No matter what you choose to do, give it your best each and every day. That way, when you lay your head down at night, you can rest knowing you gave it your all and did your best that day.

If you could tell your younger self one thing about your career journey, what would it be?
Before starting my career in logistics, I worked in public accounting. The knowledge I gained there has given me a unique perspective, allowing me to view logistics from multiple angles. If I could change one thing, I would have made the switch five years sooner.

Favorite inspirational quote.
Don’t ever stop believing in yourself on the good days, the bad days or every day.
