Why is it important to observe Women’s History Month? “It is important to observe Women’s History Month to reflect, recognize and honor women who paved the way in hopes of a brighter and more inclusive tomorrow. It is equally important for us women to carry on their legacy and lead by example for future generations to come.”

Name a woman (or women) that you are grateful for or find empowering. “My mom is a great example of a strong, confident and hardworking woman who leads our family, her workplace and community well. She constantly encourages me to step outside of my comfort zone and uncover new ways to help others. I am extremely grateful for my mom. Because of her unconditional love and unwavering support, I’ve always felt empowered to pursue after every big dream with her by my side.”

What is the best part of your job? “The best part of my job is the opportunity to serve, lead and grow with customers and colleagues. Working together to achieve common goals doesn’t feel much like “work” at all!”

What is the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received? “Be a perpetual learner—ask questions, remain curious and challenge the status quo.”

What’s your ideal way to spend your downtime? “During my downtime, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running the Beltline, reading books that challenge my thinking and cooking new recipes.”

What led you to a career in logistics? “I was led to a career in logistics by friends in college. While we earned degrees in various areas of business, we all eventually shared an interest in working with a UPS company. We each were hired at different branch locations and departments, learned a ton from our teams and each other, and the rest is history!”

What would people be surprised to learn about working in the logistics industry? “The logistics industry is constantly growing and evolving. Each day brings forth a new challenge for you to be a part of something bigger than yourself as well as new opportunities for you to grow and evolve too.”
