What inspired you to pursue a career in logistics, and what has your journey been like?
I actually got into logistics because of my twin sister. After she accepted a job in the industry, they were looking for additional resources, and she thought I would be a good fit. That’s how I ended up pursuing it, and it’s been an exciting and rewarding journey ever since.
Can you share a proud moment or accomplishment from your time working here?
A proud moment that stands out during my time here has been witnessing the evolution of our team and how much we’ve advanced and grown together. It’s been great to be part of such a dynamic and supportive environment.
What advice would you give to other women interested in a career in logistics?
My advice to women interested in a career in logistics is to be confident and get involved. The logistics industry offers so many opportunities for growth and innovation, and it’s important to believe in your abilities and take on challenges with confidence.
Who has been a mentor or role model for you in your career, and what did you learn from them?
I would say my twin sister has been a mentor and role model for me in my career. She’s the one who got me into the industry, and it’s been so much fun to grow alongside her on our individual journeys.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
The best piece of career advice I’ve ever received is to never stop learning and stay adaptable. The logistics industry is constantly evolving, and being open to new ideas, technologies and ways of doing things has been key to my growth.
If you could tell your younger self one thing about your career journey, what would it be?
If I could tell my younger self one thing about my career journey, it would be to trust the process and embrace every opportunity that comes your way. There will be challenges, but those are the moments that lead to the most growth.
