What led you to a career in logistics? “A friend recommended me to work for a logistics company almost 11 years ago. It was then that I became intrigued with the world of logistics. I have worked for carriers and freight forwarding companies, and every day it is something new. That’s what keeps me in this industry—there’s always something new to learn about logistics.

Why is it important to observe Women’s History Month? “As a woman myself, I find it encouraging to see other women accomplish their goals in their careers.

What is the best part of your job? “The team I work with is amazing. We work together and are always each other’s support.”

Name a woman (or women) you are grateful for or find empowering. “I am grateful for my group of “Chicas,” a group of four empowering women that inspire me every day with their hard work and dedication, both at work and at home.”

The best piece of career advice you’ve ever received: “Be honest with yourself and choose a career that truly makes you happy.”

What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why? I consider myself adaptable because in every workplace I’ve learned to successfully work with people that have different perspectives and personalities. We all learn from each other!

What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of? It’s an accomplishment for me to be officially a Cargomatic employee. My hard work and dedication have been acknowledged, and I am happy to be a part of this amazing team.”

What’s your ideal way to spend your weekend?  I love watching movies with my family while eating popcorn and candy.
